Dwolla Core Values

In 2019, I was challenged with creating visuals to represent the core values of Dwolla. Core values are what support the vision of the company and help shape its culture. They are the essence of the company's identity – their principles, beliefs and philosophies. Core values educate clients and potential customers about what the company is about and clarify the identity of the company.

These visuals would be used across a variety of materials so they need to flexibly work in a variety of mediums and situations in the future.

Core Shape

I determined that in order to be consistent with the existing branding I would use the core hexagon shape used in the logo to form the basis of the visual icons.

Pattern Design

The icons were developed into a repeatable pattern to be used across different materials as a background image and to create visual recognition with the brand.

T-shirt Design

The icons were screen printed on t-shirts and distributed to all employees with the choice to pick between one of the four values.
